A Place To Bury Strangers Tonight at Cattivo

If you’re in to loud experimental rock and roll with a top notch live performance (who isn’t?) than you’ll want to catch A Place to Bury Strangers tonight at Cattivo. The Brooklyn trio of Oliver Ackermann on guitar and vox, Robi Gonzalez on drums and Dion Lunadon on bass are touring in support of their new album Tranfixiation. The album is a range of well crafted noise, with a bit of sludge, a little doom and a lot of psychedelia.

Since the bands inception in 2002 the group has produced 4 full length albums and 8 EP’s, three of which were put out in 2006. APTBS just finished a set at the 2nd annual Herd Fest in Buffalo, NY. Tonight they will be accompanied by fellow Brooklyn band Sannhet and Pittsburgh rockers KheeS. The 21+ show starts at 8 with doors opening at 7pm. Tickets are only $10-$12.
