Avett Brothers with Old Crow Medicine Show 3/1/2014

The Avett Bothers are bringing their high energy folk bluegrass to the Peterson Events Center Saturday, March 1, 2013 with very special guests Old Crow Medicine Show. The Avetts are fresh off of the new release “Magpie and Dandelion,” which came out October 15, 2013. The album is once again produced by Rick Rubin. This is the bands 8th full length studio album. They are led by Seth Avett on lead and backing vocals, guitar, piano, tambourine, hi-hat, and drums while brother Scott Avett is also on lead and backing vocals as well as banjo, kick drum, harmonica, guitar, drums and piano. The duo are accompanied on stage by Bob Crawford on double bass, bass guitar, trumpet and violin, Joe Kwon on musical saw and cello, Paul DeFiglia on piano, double bass and organ while Mike Marsh takes care of drumming duty. “Another is Waiting,” is the first single off the new album.
