Club Cafe, Altar Bar, Stage AE, Three Rivers Arts Festival, Carnegie Mellon University, WYEP Music Festival and now Mr. Smalls will lay claim to hosting Lucius, a 5 piece indie rock band from Brooklyn, NY. Jess Wolfe and Holly Laessig split vocals and harmonies for a unique sound unlike anything.

Lucius is touring in support of their latest effort, “Good Grief” released in spring of 2016. The follow up to the album “Wildewomen” from 2013, that saw their song “Turn it Around” featured in a cell phone commercial. Good Grief, though departs from their sound adding in synthesizers. The collection of songs were written over 2 years while the band was on the road touring.

Lucius will be performing at Mr. Smalls for the first time October 27 with the Cactus Bottoms for an all ages show. Doors open at 7 and the show starts at 8pm. Advanced tickets are $18 and $22 day of show and can be purchased at Ticketweb.
