Reason and Rhetorical Artz are hosting tonights Track Meet Cypher, throwback edition, featuring DJ duo Tracksploitation, who were a big part of the now defunct weekly cypher/jam session called Throwdown Thursday. These get-togethers can get pretty intense, so this is for sure a must see.
The third Thursday event, Track Meet, features dancers, emcees, singers, DJs, visual artists and producers. There is no sign up sheet, list or secret passwords. Just come as you are to lay down your improvised freestyle. Track meet starts at 7pm-11pm at Local 412 clothing store at 4901 Penn Ave, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 15224.
