Pissed Jeans are rolling through town Saturday off the heels of their 4th studio album released on Sub Pop Records called “Why Love Now.” The hardcore punk rockers are from Allentown, PA forming at Nazareth High School in 2004. Their latest album, considered by many to be their best yet is full of heavy, head-pounding, over the top noise punk. The highlight on this one is “The Bar Is Low,” with an equally impressive video.
Pissed Jeans Will be at Mr Smalls Theater, a venue that they grew into over the years. Since 2004 the band has played countless small DIY spaces such as Mr. Roboto Project, Modern Formations, Brave New World, On Gallery Gooski’s, Smiling Moose and 6119 with Pittsburgh’s The Gotobeds before they were signed to Sub Pop. Their show Saturday night also features S.L.I.P. and Peace Talks. Doors open at 8PM with the show at 9PM. Tickets are available at TicketWeb for $15 in advance.
