Bastard Bearded Irishmen will perform at Hartwood Acres June 28
Allegheny County released their 2015 free concert series lineup today with Paul Luc performing inside the courthouse. Luc and The Commonheart will have an encore show at South Park Ampitheater August 7. The two groups just had a show together on April 18. The concert series has hosted top acts such as Yonder Mountain String Band, Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings, Buckwheat Zydeco and Lake Street Dive in past years. 2015 boasts quite the line up with touring acts Blue Oyster Cult, Red Baraat, Judah and the Lion and legendary funkster Bootsy Collins. The concert series organizers are also taking advantage of top local talent in Bastard Bearded Irishmen, The Hawkeyes, André Costello and the Cool Minors and of course Rusted Root. Randall Baumann of WDVE’s morning show will take his intimate Thunderbird Ramble to the open air, featuring Scott Blasey, Rob James, Casey Hanner and other guests to Hartwood Acres June 14. The 21st annual Pittsburgh Blues Festival will take place July 24-26 with artist info to come. See the full line-up below.
