The Roosevelts are an awesome quartet from Nashville, TN who were playing Pittsburgh for their first time. These guys have great stage presence and were great openers for Bronze Radio Return. Their sound is a mix of different genres – country, indie folk, and a little pop rock. The Roosevelts were testing the audience when they did a cover of Taylor Swifts’ “Bad Blood”.
This was the first stop on their tour with Bronze Radio Return. The Roosevelts will no doubt be back in Pittsburgh in the future, but until then, their new single “Runaround” can be digitally downloaded everywhere.
Fans were getting closer to the stage as they awaited Bronze Radio Return to appear. A fan described Chris Henderson “as the happiest singer ever” and that it’s just happy music.
Pittsburgh is also the first date on their tour, that runs into December, where they are promoting their new album “Light Me Up.” which will be released this Friday, October 16.
They were indeed spirit lifters to watch perform.
