Essential Machine Drop New EP

Essential Machine just dropped their fourth EP, The Ceiling and the Floor recorded in RJ Dietrick’s home studio. The songs were written by RJ and Karen Dietrick. RJ performs lead vocals and rhythm guitar and Karen on backing vocals and drums while Matthew Kilroy plays melodic electric guitar and RobyJ rounds out the sound with bass, organ, and synth lines on keys. The 6 song project “explores themes of loss and a sense of longing for people and artifacts of the past; it examines intense subjects like restlessness and the emotional turbulence of life.”

Essential Machine will be making their festival debut, Sunday, June 7 at the Three Rivers Arts Festival on WYEP day. On the same day Wreckloose, The Early Mays along with headliners, Alvvays will also be taking the Dollar Bank Stage. The album can be purchased on Amazon and iTunes.
