If you’re ever wondering what happened to that awesome Pittsburgh band from 2008 that was doing shows every weekend and self released the album of the year to only fade away, or who’s who in the local music scene? Just ask Hugh Twyman. He just celebrated his 10 year anniversary as a music blogger of HughShows and is a walking encyclopedia of all things Pittsburgh music. If you are a local band that doesn’t know Hugh or visa versa, your’e probably doing something wrong.

Twyman’s 10 year anniversary gigs at Eide’s Entertainment were sort of a swan song for him and marked a new era for HughShows. Taking things in a slightly different direction in 2015, Hugh had his hand in the Lohio farewell show, the Wigle Whiskey stage at Deutschtown Music Festival, Thunderbird Cafe during R.A.N.T. (Rock All Night Tour) and HughShows presents Jawshy Vee at The Tavern. Thursday, October 8 HughShows is becoming a real show! Twyman is hosting a pilot episode of HughShows a live local music television series produced by PCTV on the Northside. There will be a select live studio audience but all can enjoy with a live stream on USTREAM http://www.ustream.tv/channel/gFEQ373Gs2M from 5-8 PM. Meeting of Important People are the musical guests with special guest Mayor William Peduto, who is a huge supporter of local musicians.

Be a part of Pittsburgh history tomorrow and be sure to tune in to USTREAM http://www.ustream.tv/channel/gFEQ373Gs2M for a look at the live broadcast. You do not want miss this event. #SupportPGHMusic ‎#HughShowsTV‬
