Sound Scene Express is a local Pittsburgh music blog first but why not feature “local” bands from other cities too? With that said Kopps is an electronic dance group from Rochester, NY featuring Patricia Patrón on vocals, percussion Kyle O on synth and vocals, Andrew York on drums and Travis Johansen on bass.
The band released the EP “Fuck Jams” in 2012 and “The Sound of Music” in the fall of 2015 co-writtwn by Joywave’s Daniel Armbruster. Joywave, also from Rochester featured them on their hit song “Tongues.” Kopps also released a video for the song “Dumb.” Check it out below.
