November 15, 2016
Lydia Lovelace is starting to turn heads with her latest album “Real” the 4th album from the country cow punk rocker. The Columbus, Ohio native has been around the world and back and has a documentary about her called “Who is Lydia Lovelace?” The film dives into what it is like to be a musician with her level of success, which is to say the band isn’t exactly living the millionaire lifestyle. The album “Real” is just that. She dives into love, heartache, lust and so much more with her brilliant songwriting especially on key tracks “Longer” and “Clumps.”
Lovelace has been through Pittsburgh a number of times playing Club Cafe and Mr. Smalls opening for The Old 97’s. She’ll be back in town November 15 for another round at Club Cafe wrapping before wrapping up her tour in New York and Chicago. Door open at 7pm with Aaron Lee Tasjan kicking things off. Tickets can be purchased at ticket web for $15.
