Saint Motel are making their festival rounds this spring and summer while teasing the announcement of their full length album. In preparation for the big news they have released two special edition instrumental versions of their “My Type” ep, free to fans. One is a laid back sophisticated lounge piano version while the other is a fun Mexican fueled mariachi rendition.

“My Type” was and indie pop gem of an ep, being universally praised for its catchy brit pop sound and its high energy. The album was released in August 2014 and the band has been riding its wave of success ever since, with hit singles “My Type,” and “Cold Cold Man.”

The LA crew were just in town a little over year ago to play the intimate Club Cafe and have played the now defunct Shadow Lounge in the past. Now they are bringing their raucous indie pop to Mr. Smalls for an all ages show, Thursday, June 16 with Coin and Weathers. Doors open at 7pm with the show starting at 8pm.

Tickets can be purchased at TicketWeb for $15 in advance or $17 day of show. Or win a pair by emailing soundscenetix@gmail.com. Please use the name of the event in the subject line and the name of the person who will be claiming the tickets at the event. Valid ID is required to claim the tickets.
