Tiny Moving Parts : Ticket Giveaway

Tiny Moving Parts practically live on the road so it should come at no surprise that the Benson, MN trio will be back in Pittsburgh after just playing Mr. Smalls a month ago in support of The Wonder Years. This time they’ll be performing at The Smiling Moose, a venue they are pretty familiar with, having played there in the past. Also on the bill is Prawn, Free Throw and local indie band Rchrd Prkr.

Tiny Moving Parts will be releasing their latest effort “Celebrate” May 20 on Triple Crown Records. It is their 3rd studio album and the follow up to the successful “Pleasant Living.”

“So the overall theme is about trying to be optimistic. Like, shit goes wrong and you can either be bummed out about it or you can accept it, try to look on the bright side of things and move on. So Celebrate is really just, “Fuck it, let’s just have a good time in the short amount of hours we have on this planet,” said Dylan Matheisen during an interview with Noisey music website.

Lead vocalist and guitarist Matheisen is joined by his two cousins, Matthew Chevalier on bass and Billy Chevalier on drums. You can catch the guys Wednesday, May 25 at The Smiling Moose for an all ages show starting at 6:30. Tickets can be purchased at ticketfly for $13.
