Oberst has made a few trips to Pittsburgh including 2011 when Bright Eyes performed at Stage AE. prior to that he made an appearance with the Mystic Valley Band in 2009 at Mr. Smalls and most recent he performed at Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh in 2014.
In March of this year Oberst released his 8th solo studio album entitled Salutations, the follow up to 2016’s Ruminations.
