Layer Cake is the perfect name for a festival that takes place at a multi-tiered venue. With three floors, James Street Gastro Pub and Speakeasy, which is also a showcase venue for the Deutschtown Music Festival on the North Side, will be used at full capacity once again. The dining room, speakeasy and ballroom will be utilized to house 36 bands and 15 live painters and 3 comedians. The festivities begin at 1 pm with Pro Wrestler, Gene Stovall and Flock of Walri and will close out with Different Places in Space, Billy Castle and Misaligned Mind for their 2nd appearance in the ballroom this year. The trio put on an amazing set at Deutshtown Music Festival back in July.

James Street Gastropub and Speakeasy is located in historic Deutschtown at 422 Foreland Street. Presale tickets are available for $15 and $20 day of show on October 3. Tickets can be purchased at the link: http://www.showclix.com/event/LayerCake This should be an interesting festival and quite the undertaking, but if anyone could pull it off, it would be Ziggy Sawdust Productions.
