Submissions for NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert Series contest has ended and thousands have entered. The series hosted by Bob Boilen has seen such artists as Trey Anastasio, Adelle, T-Pain and Wilco. The winner of the contest will perform at NPR tiny desk studio in Washington D.C. and a trip to Austin,TX for Lagunitas’ CouchTrippin’ to Austin showcase. There will be two rounds of judging. Artists will be scored on 40% musical quality and appeal, 40% originality and 20% stage presence and charisma. Judges include Bob Boilen, John Congleton, Valerie June, Robin Hilton, Reggie Watts and Thao Nguyen. The winner will be announced February 12th.
