The Rockin’ Bones kicked off the party with their humorous halloween themed music. This is one of Michael “Zombo” Devine’s many bands and they are always entertaining. The Rockin’ Bones only come out once a year for the halloween season and their’s plenty of chances to see them throughout the month of October. They put their own spin on classics songs “Monster Mash,” “Midnight Monster Hop,” and “Casting My Spell.” They also performed “Warewolf Wigle,” their original song taking the dead by storm.

The Semi Supervillains took the stage next with the release of their latest effort Here Comes Trouble. Vinnie Longhi has always been the constant and driving force in the band. Even with a cast of fill ins Longhi is as professional as it gets. The ep is the follow up to the bands debut Tricks. This 5 song collection is a slight departure from TSSV’s teenage angst of their debut, with a more mature, radio ready pop sound. Vinnie kicked off his Cattivo set with some of his new tunes and throwing in some older ones as well. “Cattivo is translated to “bad” in Italian. My name is Vinnie villain and I’m a bad Italian,” said Longhi during his set.

The Turbosonics with the release of their full length, Tres Gatos Suave, were just that with their black suits and cat masks, with drummer Timmy Klatte donning a full tiger mask. The instrumental trio surfed through their catalog with songs like “Clambake,” from their debut album and “Frozon Surf,” off the new one, also throwing in Dick Dale covers along the way. Here’s hoping the boys keep the masks moving forward!
