Philadelphia has sure put out some great music over the years, from indie rockers, The War On Drugs to authentic hip hop group, The Roots. Another band that paved their way with a unique hip hop sound, is G. Love and Special Sauce. You’re not going to hear the trio on mainstream pop radio, so constant touring and major festival appearances have contributed to the bands success.

Garrett Dutton, better know as G. Love has put out 7 studio albums with the moniker Special Sauce and 3 more as a solo artist. They just put out the album “Love Saves the Day,” on Jack Johnson’s Brushfire Records. Even with success, Dutton seems to be in touch with his fan base interacting on social media, even running an album tournament survey on twitter.

GLASS will be making their 3rd appearance in as many years in the steel city. This time they will be at Mr. Smalls Theater, March 25 at 8:30 with The Bones of JR Jones.
