Help the Bastards Sail Across the Sun

The band Train is hosting the 3rd Annual Sail Across the Sun, cruise. Why should I care?, you might ask. Well, because the Bastard Bearded Irishmen are a top 10 finalist to also be part of the voyage! Other well know acts on the trek include Michael Franti & Spearhead, Phillip Phillips and Andy Grammar. The Norwegian Pearl will set sail from Miami, Florida to Ocho Rios, Jamaica. With over a dozen performers and 2 comedians on 5 stages, the 2,000 cruisers will also have a casino, rock climbing wall and a bowling alley among other activities.

Help the Bastards “Sail On, Sail Away” February 11-16 by voting them and two other bands into the Sixthman Soundcheck competition. Voting ends 11:59pm ET on Wednesday, September 23. 5 bands will move on to the next round of voting around October 7. You can catch BBI this Saturday, September 25 at Rock and Roll Hotel in Washington D.C., September 26 & 27 in Bethlehem, PA for the Celtic Classic or a little closer to home, October 3 at Zelienople Community Park.
