Creativity is key when other top local acts are vying for your presence at their show. Sometimes posters, word of mouth and Christian Mingle aren’t enough. The Commonheart and Paul Luc are playing Club Café April 18 at 7 PM, while to the North, at the Andy Warhol Museum, Meeting of Important People will be releasing their first new music in 2 years. A single called “All Rode Off Together,” out on Wild Kindness Records.
What better way to promote your show, than a hilarious promo video. The video starts out with Clinton Clegg, Shawn McGregor and Paul Luc brainstorming ideas to promote their show. After coming up with some great concepts, Clegg and McGregor leave to go promote the gig. While Luc is talking to the guys on the phone, an intruder kidnaps him. The video ends with Clegg talking to the kidnapper in hopes of getting Luc back for the show. Check it out below, it’s a must see.
