English rockers The Vaccines have opened for some of the biggest names in the business including The Rolling Stones, Mumford and Sons and Arcade Fire. Now It’s time for these guys to step out on their own and take it the next level. They started to do so with their 2015 release “English Graffiti,” changing up their sound to a more retro pop feel, a bit of a departure from their previous releases. Sometimes it’s the chances a band takes that will catapult them to stardom.

The brits are also working on new music to break up the monotony of their long touring season ahead, including a number of festivals throughout the world. A new album is in the works possibly with the producer of the Arctic Monkeys.

Justin Young, Freddie Cowan, Árni Árnason and Pete Robertson are known for their dynamic live shows connecting with their fans on another level. You’ll usually get a jam packed set list with plenty of fan interaction. Now is your chance to catch them before they take off to their homeland. They will be in town Wednesday for a show at Mr. Smalls. Be sure to show up early to catch Pittsburgh pop rockers Nevada Color at 8pm. Their live shows are also a sight to see and will not disappoint.
